Degree • Osmania University
Where school ends and a profession begins.
After Intermediate, our Osmania University-affiliated degree programmes carry students into business, commerce, computing, the arts and the sciences. Three years, taught on the same Shaikpet campus, by faculty who treat undergraduates as adults finding their direction — not numbers in a register.
Five undergraduate programmes, all under Osmania University.
Choose the degree that matches where you're headed — management, commerce, computing, humanities or the sciences. Every programme is co-ed and follows the Osmania University academic calendar.
A management foundation for people who want to run things.
The Bachelor of Business Administration builds the working vocabulary of business — marketing, finance, human resources and operations — across three years. It suits students who already sense they want to manage people, money or a venture rather than specialise narrowly.
Coursework stays practical: how organisations are structured, how decisions get costed, how teams and markets actually behave. It is also the most natural on-ramp to an MBA.
The commerce degree that keeps every professional door open.
B.Com (General) is the backbone commerce degree: accounting, taxation, business law and economics, taught with the rigour that professional examinations later demand. It rewards students who like structure, numbers and rules that actually matter.
It is the standard base for students continuing toward CA, CMA or CS, and for anyone heading into banking or accounting roles after graduation.
Commerce, plus the computing that commerce now runs on.
B.Com (Computer Applications) keeps the full commerce core and adds applied computing — Tally, databases, business software and the basics of programming. It is built for the reality that accounts and IT no longer sit in separate rooms.
Students finish able to speak both languages: the ledger and the system that holds it. That makes them useful in the growing space between finance teams and technology teams.
For students who think in arguments, history and ideas.
The Bachelor of Arts grounds students in humanities and social sciences — the disciplines behind law, governance, writing and teaching. It suits readers and arguers: students who want to understand how society, language and institutions work.
It remains one of the strongest foundations for competitive examinations and for postgraduate study across the humanities.
A science degree for the lab-minded and the curious.
The Bachelor of Science continues the discipline of school science into a degree, across the science combinations offered under Osmania University. It is for students who want to keep working with experiments, evidence and method.
It opens the standard scientific routes — research, teaching, and technical work — and is a direct step toward postgraduate science.
A degree college that still knows your name
A degree college that still knows your name.
Degree cohorts here are kept small on purpose. A lecturer who recognises a quiet student in the third row is worth more than a large hall, and three years is long enough for that recognition to turn into real guidance.
Much of our faculty has taught on this campus for years, so a student is rarely handed from stranger to stranger. The same people who know your first-year work see you through to your final examinations, all on the Osmania University calendar.
It is a co-educational, respectful environment — girls and boys learning side by side, treated as the young adults they are, in a college that has watched this neighbourhood grow up.
